tomPietrowskiThe thing to remember with tuning at home is you will not be able to do it all so don't try. Have a shop do the parts you can't. There is no way you could base hrinf and restructure at home so I like to get big work like this done first and then I'll finish off the edges and waxing.
Not sure why this was down voted so I'll try to explain again. With tuning at home you can only ever do so much. There just is no way to base grind, stone grind ect at home. People have tried belt sanders ect but more often then not it ruins the skis. So for the parts you can not do at home such as resurfacing te sidewall in your case get a shop to do it. It's better to pay a little to get it done right then to attempt to do it at home an end up fucking your skis.
Waxing and edgeing I will always do at home but you just need to be realistic in what you can and can't achieve at home.
