Today marks the 45th anniversary of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon. Should we go back? Will we be on Mars anytime soon? What's next? Discuss.

Also, if you've got a bunch of free time, watch "In the Shadow of the Moon". Produced by Ron Howard, all original footage from NASA, news, etc from the moon missions and the only people who talk are the guys who've been there, telling their story. Easily my favourite documentary.

Let's not forget the myriad of Canadians who were snatched up by NASA after the Avro Arrow project was canned who without there would not have been a man on the moon. Chamberlin being the best of them.

Yup, you probly heard this from me a while ago. Its important that people realize that we would not have gotten to the moon, or possibly even into space, without leadership from nasa president werner von braun, the man who developed the world beating v1 and v2 rockets for germany.
