RusticlesI went to Bali for a month a few years ago, it was a great trip, surfing is amazing, temples and shit are cool too. Personally enjoyed the south the best.
I think my wife and I spent $3000 while we were there and we weren't living super cheap either. Cheapest places to sleep are homestays, other than that your looking at $25 a night for a decent place. Rent scooters if your out of Denpasar. Eat from street meat vendors off the beaten path to save costs, usually $2-3 a meal. Remember everything is up for negotiation.
50KalPlanning to spend most my time outside of the busy cities (Denpasar, Sanur, Kuta) and hang in more the relaxed places (padang bai, candidasa, Medewi beach).
Would stay in cheaper hostels/hotels. Seems like everyone serves breakfast for a few bucks more.
I been reading up on visa requirements? How did you guys do yours? Seems like I need a letter from a hotel to get myself a visa. Or proof that I coming to Bali for vacation and not work.
Suggestions on visas?
