J-Skis or On3p?

So my question is to get j-skis or on3ps I want a ski that you get the most bang for your $$ and that will last longer, and be more durable.

From what I have heard the filthy rich is a pretty bombproof ski. On J skis I have not heard much about them.

Why limit yourself to just two brands which make pretty similar skis? Not that either are bad by there are so many great skis out tree it seems silly to limit yourself.

i would go jskis cus if you dont like them with in the first 3 days of riding them, you can send them back. good luck man.

Or he coul demo a bunch of skis at the start of the season and find some he actually likes. Jski offer a good returns policy but it does not replace testing skis before buying.

yes thats an idea. but i have rarely if not ever heard of people buying jskis and not liking them

I'm not disagreeing with that but I would bet a few of them maybe would have got other skis if they had tried a bunch all at once. Maybe not, but without trying you just don't know.

Its pretty impossible right now to demo Jskis unless you know someone with them or find Jason Levinthal on the mountain somewhere

Umm...maybe you should go back to math class...because $105 would not get you another pair of Jskis.

I only rode J-Skis for 1 run, they were too soft for me personally. Filthy's have the perfect flex for the way I ski, they're soft enough to butter, press, ect, but stiff enough to charge super hard without chatter or feeling unstable. It's hard to speak for the longevity of Jskis because they're so new, but I know people who still have the original filthy rich still kicking around (I also know people who just killed their Blue Steeles - the ski the FR replaced).

If you want good cheap skis go with the surface blanks. Plus if you snap one it's only 150 or something to replace.

I really love my FRs they are pretty dope, lasted me 2 season of all rails in ontario. Love the shape because you can literally do anything, even acceptable for a random day with some snow.

Yeah all depends of your kind of riding

For me J skis are perfect nice press in tips and stiff in middle.
Pretty light and the choice of 90 and 98mm width
Got mine in early-middle winter still really good condition,
pretty beaten and got my first edge crack last week.
Plus dope limited design for all kind.
I can't tell for on3p don't really know them,
read some good review but never try them.
J-skis are pretty dope I would say.

i would say j skis. i have not ridden them but i have heard some good honest reviews on the skis and from what ive heard they are a great ski , and they seem to be doing things right , because i have not heard any bad things about them yet. of course thats probably cause they are so new but yeah . i always thought the FR were sick skis from on3p, the only thing i can say i don't like about the FRs is they seem to have a lot of swing weight compared to most park skis ive skied. if your dead set on these two brands then good luck bro, i really don't think you can go wrong either way really with those two brands. but like someone else said there are sooo sooo many good park skis from so many manufacturers these days its nuts. maybe check out some other skis ? but ya if you dead set on on3p or J skis, my vote would be J skis. plus its not really a "start up" ski company by definition because Jason been building and creating skis and ski designs for decades. so even tho there "new", i feel like the brand would make great skis , time will tell i guess, but jason has a pretty good track record with creating and building skis.... good luck man, new skis are awesome. cheers.

j skis are just as durable if not more than on3p's. and they're $100 cheaper too. after that it really just comes down to what kind of flex and shape you like more.

I know that a graphic should be the last thing you base your purchase on, but J-skis are far too tacky for my taste. ON3P has some of the sickest graphics out of any manufacturers.
