COC 5 day Camp progression?

I checked archive but i didnt find a thread on this, sorry if it has already been done. Also sorry for the camp thread, as there are far too many of them.

In short, For NSers who have done camp of champions, or more specifically, the 5 day session, How much did you progress? What did you learn compared to what you brought into the camp? Is 3days on snow enough to learn 2s on and cork 7s?

I can hit any rail/jump, and have the basic spins (2s out, 3s&5s) but i cant do fuckall besides that. I feel like i need coaching to progress into corks and swaps, but 3 days seems really thin and i would be spending a couple years savings on this. ($1295 is absurd for 3 days unless progression is crazy). Thanks for the help n shit.

How much you progress is completely up to you. If you go and you throw down hard and just keep going even if you crash a lot then I'm sure you'll get cork 7's and 270's on in 3 days no problems. But if you go with a shitty attitude and just give up if you can't do it and crash then you won't progress at all and it will be a complete waste.

^ what he said. But in my personal experience, I barely progressed because i was there to enjoy it and didn't want to try something crazy so that i'd maybe get hurt while trying it. I have a friend that was with me there and the first night of the 3 days of skiing, he hurt himself at bounce so he couldn't ski for the next day and the third day he could ski but it hurt a lot. So it's really up to you but i'd say enjoy it and take it mellow so that you can enjoy those days. You'll always be able to learn those tricks at your home mountain next year

Travel. The first day they pick you up set you up in the hotel, explain to you how everything will go and they let you do whatever you want in the village and on the last day you leave Whistler at 7 or 8 in the morning for Vancouver airport

you can progress a lot just don't be stupid with hucking yourself. if you want to learn cork 7s and 5s are your best jump trick, then try to learn regular 7s the second day or so. keep doing a bunch of them with as many different grabs as you can and then start to think about doing corks, don't just huck and hope a cork early on because you think you have to progress for it to be worth the money

Just go fuckin ski and have fun. Progression will inevitably come the more you ski

if you have the money to spare and you want a fun vacation then go ahead . I wouldnt expect you to make a ton of progression in 3 days, but it will still be a pretty awesome time.
