MPapaniaso basically being able to judge how far into a rotation and how close to the landing you are without having to look at the ground? or is spotting your landing throughout the trick a part of air awareness?
Both. It depends on the trick.
For example, in double front flip you're fairly blind during the whole trick, so you need to know when to open up and extend your body to land with out seeing the ground. Where as, in a rodeo 5 you can fully spot your landing almost the whole time. Both tricks require air awareness, but in two different ways. Don't think of it as whether or not you can see the landing, it's just knowing where you are during the trick (by any means necessary)
