Pooping after death

I saw the southpark on it and I didn't believe it. But your bowels do in fact release when you die.

It changes my perspective on death, wish i was a cat now and had 9 lives, cos i would totally hold my poop in for a while, then kill myself over people that I didn't like. And it would make it a lot easier to break up with babes during sex. I mean i guess i could just poop on them, but it wouldn't be as funny because i wouldnt be bleeding or dead

I was pretty intrigued by it, so i was wondering if ns had other facts or insights about death?

I always just imagine myself lying on my deathbed, surrounded by family members knowing ive been holding in poop for the last three days. Then when I die my large intestine eventually relaxes and I clear the room with a big shit.

You expel all fluids when you die. Sometimes when built up gas is expelled it can look like the corpse is being reanimated. Cool stuff really.

This is actually really dependent!! Sometimes hospitals are responsible for cleaning it, medical examiners may be in charge of initially cleaning the body. Morticians will then make it look more colored or cleaned.

When I took my CPR class we learned about this. It's also quite common to projectile vomit, burp, and piss after your heart stops.

People can loose up to 10 pounds when they die due to loosing all their shit.

Wait until you take the EMT course. You get to go into detail, and if your instructor is nuts, simulate it.

I've never had any of my patients die and shit themselves. Or expel any fluids for that matter. but it can happen.

old people who have shitty hearts to begin with, when they strain, will have a pre- or syncopal episode. They can have a vasovagal episode. heart rate slows, blood pressure drops, blood and therefore oxygen, cannot make it to the brain. usually this leads to a fall off the john and an old person smacking their head, leading to other shit.

That was point, the nature of the death dictates who's responsible for clean up. In our hospital, we have people who work solely with the morgue, and they're responsible to clean the person up before they're transported to the morgue. It'd be disrespectful to send them out in a soiled state.

Also, I don't think people realize it's not "explosive" release of fluids but a gradual one, there may not even be enough in the system to produce a shit or whatnot.
