"Rather than an unnecessary and predictable story about a bunch of assholes partying, consider this a recitation of the notion that skiing still draws camaraderie from the reckless, decadent, and fun loving antics that it was founded on."

Done I understand what you're doing for the project, but maybe it would be more accurate if you asked what size feature instead of what size park. The injury could be at a huge park with big ass jumps and a Superpipe, but actually have happened on a butter box. Also, have description for each size of feature. Cool project though and summarize your results on NS if you want to.

Took it. I've never witnessed witnessed a severe injury in the park.
What are you trying to prove with this? What are your intentions?
Just saying be careful what you mess around with in terms of terrain park liability.
Also the survey could be set up much better if you're trying to get good data. What does somebody skiing, snowboarding, or snowblading have to do with witnessing injuries?
Right now groups are working working on trying to establish guidelines. In the future there could be a set standard. You could have a perfect jump, but if it isn't designed according to the set standards you could be screwed in the court room if somebody get's hurt.
Idk. With something as big as the Salvini case out there it just makes that balance between the mountain, insurance, and the user all the more fragile.
Even if things are built perfectly and tailored to the main demographic of the mountain there is still inherent risk in the sport. The sport of skiing in general is risky as one can reach high speeds with nothing but trees lining the edges of the trail. That said, the tree was always there, nobody built it. It's hard to sue for something like that. In the park, somebody built it so it's easy to transfer the blame even if the blame lies with the user. In a perfectly built park somebody can still get injured riding it. If the injury is severe people look for a place to put the blame, and very rarely do they ever put it on themselves.
If you like riding parks be careful how you approach the topic.
