Does anyone else deal with chronic bursitis? If so how do you go about preventing it when you go skiing? I'm tired of half way through my day having to end because me knee is so swollen it won't move.
I have this in my hips, it majorly sucks. Started almost 3 years ago and still bothers me daily. Being flexible helps a massive amount.
Does yours swell up? Or just make it difficult to move? Also will I have this forever? Am I fucked and cursed with never being able to hit my knee again while skiing?
Is yours dew to an infection or a preexisting medical condition, or naaaa?
My friend Afterbanged so hard, he broke both legs, his hip, 4 ribs, caused an avalanche, and killed everyone within a 100mile radius of the 'bang. But it was still not 'too much' bang. nickyp

No for real he is 26. Time for him to stop sliding on hand rails and get a real job. ParryWithAnA
Its not really so painful now but its always uncomfortable, but it used to make it impossible to pick my legs up past 20 degrees.
Its not going to last forever and going to physical therapy will help a lot... I guess you could wear a brace or knee pad if you insist on skiing with it, but keep in mind the longer you wait to rest the longer it takes to heal.
Mine was due to blunt trauma
