Just because were all "pro" skiers, doesn't mean we fail. It means we ball hard. Which causes us to have the most badass fails. so What was your 2013-2014 Fail?

Mine was hitting an unwaxed box, my skis Instantly grabbing and causing me to tumble onto my ass. xD wasnt funny at the time tho....

wasn't trying anything extreme, just popped off a roller and didn't realize there was on behind it. landed on the second rollers face and took a knee to the chin. split my chin and had to eat soft noodles for a few days but nothing bad.

I slipped backwards on a flat rail and I didnt fully commit, so i tacoed down the rail, rolling from my side to my belly to my back

I Was skiing through the woods and there was a tree down with a small cliff on the otherside creating a pillow line and my friend hit it first and i came in behind him and my ski went under the branch sending me hurling over the cliff onto my face and my other ski was sticking straight up out of the snow

was doing some backside swaps on the corrugated at the beginning of the season and i slipped out on one and this snowboarder nailed my tail bone, it fuckin hurt man

Prolly when i was taking a dinky little tree trail off of a groomer. There was a patch of dirt and I panicked, so i tried to stop but ended up slamming my arm into a tree, flipping/sliding onto my side then slamming my ass on another tree, going kinda fast. That shit hurt like a bitch

skiing in really tight trees at an old ski area near my school when I caught an edge and ended up straight lining for about 20 yards. there was a low lying branch that I hit my boots on, double ejected, and catapulted into a tree. It was really scary and hurt really bad and I thought my leg was broken. Turns out it was only bruised really bad but I could barely walk on it for about 3 days.

My neat story about having low pain tolerance.

Hard to tell from the video but the jump was a pretty significant step down and the landing was about ten feet long before it flattened out. I under-rotated, caught my front tip, flew forward, and fell maybe ten or fifteen feet onto flat, onto my head. I was by myself so I'm not sure how long I was knocked out for, but I woke up sitting on the ground with a pounding headache and extreme nausea.

Attempting to frontflip a very small rainbow box. Got 3/4s of the way around then my poles stabbed me in the gooch. Couldn't walk right for about 5 days.

That guy really needs to learn how to catch his whips haha.

My worst was probably the other day trying a blind switchup on a flat-down single barrel tube, caught one of my skis on the rail and did a full lincoln loop. not too much pain involved luckily but it was skeetchhhh

Made a bet with my friend to get upside down before Christmas. Went for a nollie front on a roller on the 2nd day of the season. Slammed and broke my hand, and spent the next two months with wires in my hand, unable to hold poles. Didn't stop me skiing, but made me feel alot more cautious for most of the season.

Picked out a hero line on a 800ish foot face that faces the one chair bringing skiers to the backside at kirkwood.

I got one of the early chairs on a pow day, hiked up to the line and dropped in an area so that the lift coulnt have had a better view.

I wanted to ski the line super fast, you know, movie like. So i sent the top 20 footer at speed, but was about 20 feet to far to the right so there was another 10 footer right in my landing. I lnaded the 20 footer a little backseat but not so much that i couldnt pop and hit the 2nd cliff with decent balance. I landed that cliff pretty bckseat.

I then tried to straightline through the choke but dry docked my left ski on some pepper which made my right ski carve hard right and twisted me around. I slammed into the side of a rock and proceeded to full on ragdoll for a while, at one point off another 10 footer(scary as shit to feel that weightless feeling while ragdolling). I abruptly came to a stop with both skis still on but no poles haha.

I bruised my right shoulder and elbow pretty good, pulled my left pec, and got some pretty brutal whiplash. riding the lift back up i got to check out my line as that face still didnt have many tracks down it and i had basically straighlined 1/4 of the way and then ragdolled about half way down haha.

the crash was so epic i got a nice callout on TGR asking who that dude was who sent the 20 footer to full on tmahawk right after that lift opened haha.

Moral of the story if you are gonna ski a hero line, you better charge so crash or stomp it looks badass haha.

i almost did the same thing except i didnt bring the cork around so landed straight parallel to the ground on my fore head. Got a sick dent in the helmet and i think I got a concussion too, not sure though.

bailed on a wallride and landed super hard on my hip. didn't seem so bad at first but kept getting more painful, no bruising for the first couple days but now all this yellow bruising is coming out. No expert, but I'm thinking now I did some damage to my pelvis and will probably go get it checked out. hoping it's not cracked.

also for some reason my ballsack is getting some bruising, but blue not yellow. so it really looks like I have blue balls right now.

Coming out of the woods in this once spot and there was a nice little Lion King point that dropped a good 8 feet into the trail. I took it slow the first time and realized there was a nice transition so it wasn't just to flat. Took it with some speed the next time. That transition turned out to be windblown snow and my tips just sank from the impact, scorpioned hard and slid halfway across the trail. Biggest spill of the year, had to catch my breath for a few minutes. Luckily no injuries.
