What ski, sorry

So I hate to be that guy, but I'm in the market for something durable. I ski park allll year in the midwest and then ski everything out west.  I've been on line stepups (liked em) and volkl bridges (loved em, cept the durability was that of a glass sword.) SO basically what I'm asking of you guys is whats a semi fat park ski that rips all mtn. Around 95+ underfoot, and could be rockered Idc really I just want bomber skis for next season.

Do you have any skis right now? If you have park skis then you should get something specifically for big mountain to use only when you go to the mountains. In which case I would recommend something like Bent Chetler, Pettitor, Patron, Shiro, etc

yeah that's a good thought, Im just debating cuz my lines are my beater/backyard/park ski right now, because they have many edge cracks and the tip exploded. Still rides fine but just beat to hell. ALso im limping along on my bridges, the got edge cracks after literally 2 days of mild park use, the edge is blown out under foot on one ski and a big chunk of base is missing. SO ill probably just ride them till they die.

My other viewpoint is that im looking to go to college out west, such as Cu boulder, u of Utah or somewhere close to mountains, so I may hold off and buy a big mtn ski then. which would be not next winter but the winter after.

I had thought the same, but Id like something a little stiffer, im like 6'4 200 so I can usually butter even "stiff" skis.

ARVti is stiff. Thats what the titanium whatever the fuck is in it is for.

Al dente and blend will definitely be softer.

Keep skiing your beat up park skis in the midwest and get a ski specifically for big mountain (110-125mm), and when you have the money, get a cheap used pair of park skis. You'll want your park skis out west too when the conditions suck.

True. Im still unsure what I'll do for next seasons trip out west.  Sometimes surface has a sale from their demo fleet so I might pick up a pair from them for cheapo

Personally I'd get the Al Dente's but if you don't want a ski thats a noodle then I can understand why you don't want them

Well my Icelantic Da'nollies are 88 underfoot, but they're durable as fudge and they rip the mountain. If your looking for a fat ski (depending on what size) try fat-ypus, I just got l-toros which are 101 underfoot. If you get freeskier mag go to the buyers guide and look at the crossover skis, those are all skis that fit what you're looking for

fat-ypus closed shop, but look at Liberty. I use morphics for all mountain and some light park, and antigens for the days dedicated to park. but for you the Sequences would work; 95 underfoot, bamboo core. hope this helps

i think you should look at the line TC ski, im not sure what they are underfoot though, maybe 90 or 95

I'm riding Moment Vice right now. They are a pretty stiff ski (which you said you wanted) but are rockered on the tips so you can still butter on them (even I can and I only weigh 140lb). Super good grip on ice, which is all we ski on here in the midwest haha.

i loved my bridges, the durability was amdefenet issue, i got teh faction prodigy to replace them, and i absolutl love them, they're holding up better then any ski i have ever owned, they're super light, rip groomers, are incredibly nimble in the trees not so great for those bottomless pow days (98 under foot) they have a 20% camber up front, 10% in the tail, camber underfoot. if you want something more park oriented, next year they (faction) will have a 2.0 (finally) its the ski adam delorme is riding in his welcome to the team edit , they're 132-102-132 i believe, and thats what im going to get when my prodigy's break

K2 recoils have been bombproof for me. The urethane they put underfoot really helps dampen the impact on the edges plus the fact that the edges are 3.5mm which is pretty damn big! Tip and tail rivets eliminate any de-lam problems which I used to have happen on Line skis. The capwall construction holds up nicely as well. I had to remount bindings because I broke a heel piece but never had any issue with the skis core not holding the second time through. Most durable ski I've ever had! They're super responsive poppy and playful too. If you want more rocker I'm pretty sure the K2 domain is the same construction just flat underfoot then earlyrise in the tip and tail which would be nicer if you get some deeper stuff out west. K2 makes some bombproof skis!

You can't go wrong with on3p dude but they are expensive. Other than those the Nordics soul riders, pettitors, l toro are all great skis too.

On3p filthy riches are seemingly bombproof, and have a ton of rocker in the tip and tail for some mild pow.
