Loop Rail at B&E Invitational Conspiracy to Murder?
By the looks of the rail it pretty much looks impossible. We've seen comepletely square rails and shit from Travelling circus but what the fuck your pretty much going completely upside down with this shit. Please tell me how a person is supposed to survive doing this. This comes to my conclusion that this is a conspiracy to murder by Henny and Phil.
I'll bet you the curve was way too tight. The G-force/Centrifugal force (some science guy tell me which is correct) right at the top would be too much to handle.
In order to do a loop rail, it would have to be a way smoother curve all the way through. I remember building curved rails / s-rails and you had to make them way more mellow than you think in order to be even remotely slidable.
Exactly this. The loop would only be possible at a certain speed. At that speed, by the time you get to the tightest bend in the rail (looks like the peak of the loop) your legs would collapse from the g-force. That's also assuming you are perfectly balanced on the rail, otherwise you're gonna get bucked out so hard. Pretty awesome they even attempted to pull the loop off though..someday folks
Real bummer that nobody greased it. there definitely should be a cash prize for the first person to do a loop rail on skis. Kinda like the old (I think it was volcom) surfboard kickflip comp.
