Got expelled senior year of high school for basically just snapping and cursing out a bunch of teachers / the dean and icked over a bunch of garbage cans and drove off and left school.

Went to college killed it and got a sick job. Fuck high school. Its such a shame how they run them these days. The rules are just absurd.

It was

a) The maintenance men at the school drove around a golf cart to carry tools and materials, thus making their job easier. They took our soccer ball so i ripped the key out of the cart, came back at night and drove it with my mates, but got caught in the act by school security... He had to chase us whilst we were driving off. He pulled one of my mates off the back and I immediately knew we were done...

Ditched school sport to make time for my studies. If i get bad grades my parents don't let me ski

Was late to school on many occasions because whenever I went to get a coffee the bitch would take ages to make it. I need caffeine to work better

Posting the thread wasn't to attract attention but more to ask for guidance. I think I have had many instances of bad luck in the lead up to this. My mum won't stop harassing me about it. I get good grades (straight A's), and I also don't generally mean any harm to people except for the golf cart incidence

At my school a kid constantly turned up late, rarely went to lessons and got caught smoking weed in the teachers car park. That wasn't enough to even get suspended. The tipping point was when he set up a tent trackside at sports day, smoked in it and then got a 14 year old girl to suck him off while his friend filmed.

He got a two week suspension, but he never came back.

idk man public schools are really cracking down on everything we do its retarted my friend got a $300 fine and a court hearing for "choking" a kid when he was just pulling his hood strings to close his hood. used to be you would go to the principal and maybe get suspended but now they want to put you in front of a judge and give you a social worker

you're in control of your life. you can dwell on it negatively and let it bring you down, or you can say "fuck it". What happens when you're under 18 literally doesn't mean shit unless you're one of those kids who feels like if you don't get into a "prestigious" school you're fucked. Over half those kids who go to said prestigious school end up worse off than people who got a 2 year degree from a vo-tech (barring parents paying for everything). 4 year degrees from prestigious schools are overrated unless you really want to be a doctor or something like that. Honestly I think people need to stay away from traditional schooling these days. Too many kids think they can just get a 4 year degree in whatever-the-fuck and succeed in life. They've already drank the kool aid. Then after being hampered with 50k debt and unable to get a job with their degree, they decide its because they don't have a graduate degree. Then after that, they're 1/4 million dollars in debt, making 1/2 than what people make getting legitimate jobs out of the vo-techs. /end rant

I got expelled 8th grade, did the homeschooling thing for a few years (was never a good student). Worked my way back into school through high school but being home schooled may have helped me get into the college I wanted to get into...did horrible there, graduated with a 2.36 but chose a good field to go into and now have a good job...
only thing that drives me fucking nuts is when I go back to that town, fucking 15 years later those no-lifes who never moved on with their life still bring it up.

Don't fucking worry about it dude. Honestly, you may think that I sound like a fuck up right now, but I'm not. I was a crazy asshole in high school that was known for being an out of control ("fuck up", depending who you talked to), and it was a blast. I should've been kicked out of high school and college, 10 times over, but somehow I didn't. I'm doing pretty fucking well right now. Lived the dream out in CO and Tahoe for 5 years after college, and now I'm making a butt ton of money in Boston (where I'm from) at an awesome job, and skiing every weekend.

Instead, some of my hard-partying buddies, who also achieved straight A's, got kicked out for the stupidest shit ever. Literally, the stupidest shit ever. The nicest kid I've ever met in my life got framed for raping a girl when she was drunk and too fucking embarrassed to admit it. I'm completely against the date rape thing, but this was legit fucked up, and she even knew it. Fucked up people. ANYWAYS

Bottom line is, it's college. You're meant to experiment, push your discipline boundaries, and do what you want/have fun. In a couple years, it won't even fucking matter. We just hired a kid because he was a good guy, even though he got kicked out of UMass for throwing bricks at a cop on a horse. THERE YA HAVE IT

Sparknotes: It doesn't matter if you get kicked out of college. Just don't let it effect how you ante up again. Get back into another school and keep going, it really isn't hard at all. It's really not cool to get expelled from school and then just stop getting an education. Don't go down the dusty dark trail of idiocy, it would suck.
