Problem with 360's in general.

So, I've been trying 3's lately, and whether it be in the air or sliding on a box, the same thing happens. I do the first half (180) relatively quick and easy, but then I like slow down and just sorta drift to 360, which I usually don't late as I end up not spinning enough. What's causing this, and any tip?

this was a problem for me because i used to think of it as a 180 with a late 180 quickly put in. You should keep looking all the way through, which may be the cause of your loss of momentum.

A lead grab is a grab that goes in the direction of the spin. (Spin left, grab left safety = leading safety). It sounds like you don't throw it hard enough, that and look over your shoulder at the 180

i used to do spins the same as you, sperated into little 180's, just continue to look over your shoulder. if you can 2 off a rail then you know how to keep your spin going ( hopefully). maybe its about commiting to the trick as well, have a friend film you and compare it it to others 3's as well.

Haha no Im just kiddin brah, 3's are super fun once you gottem down! 5's as well, they're just so floaty. And yea throwing in a safety really helps me not only stay in control, but makes the trick look so much better. Good luck on learnin! Comment if you got it down next time you go shred!

u got to spot the top of the hill at 180 then keep turning your head, you will definitely get it, it just takes practice

try 360s just jumping on flat ground with your skis and then take them to small jumps.

you just gotta commit. What was happening to me was that i was so used to doing 180's and that was all thai i could do. Then one day, i randomly started landing 3's. It sounds like you gotta spin harder and keep your head turned and try to spot your landing as soon as you can.

Actually, for me setting to hard was a lot of the issue when learning 3's. I set too hard and it caused me to get out of control in the air. The biggest thing is keeping your head over your shoulder. Your body follows your head so just get that head over your shoulder and stomp it.

alright... so this is a common problem for anyone learning 3s. You gotta make sure you stay fluid and spin in one motion. spin with you shoulders instead of trying to twist your legs. Also once you start spinning 3s on bigger jumps, make sure not to look down when you look over your shoulder. If you look down, you'll b getting mad shin bang and back seat landings.

As long as your don't fix your eyes on anything through the spin, you'll get it all the way.
