Granted I don't know too much about long boarding, I thought everything was good except for the zoom part of where he was filming kinda just looked like you zoomed in while you were editing and not just getting closer. Last thing, I just thought the song was too "hood" for long boarding. But if you like it go for it, that's just my two cents

The shots were all pretty similar. Same length, same angles, same subject, same location. The edit would be 10x more interesting if you went to different locations with different backdrops. Another important thing to do is mix up your angles. Get a couple close ups and maybe an establishing shot of somebody just riding down the street filmed from further away. It would be good to have a couple longer shots in there too. Maybe you could get on a board and to a follow cam so you can keep the subject in the shot for longer.

The shot at :17 is the kind of thing I meant by this. I didn't notice it the first time. So nevermind on that specific critique.

mmmmmmmeh, It was super duper repetitive. I can understand if you're just seshing with your friends how you can get carried away with just standing at one spot and filming for an hour, but definitely try to mix it up. All I saw were low panning fisheyes 30 times in a row. I'm sure you have a kit lens, an if that's all you have other than your fish, don't be afraid to whip it out to get some longer shots. Also, get a tripod and fluid head. It will make you a better filmer if you learn how to use one properly and use it to your advantage. That's part of the reason my skate edits sucked so much last year, I just hand held from the same angle a lot, but this winter I've learned that having good stabilization and varying focal length are two very important things to consider.
