I've ridden the nomads, all three varieties. I'm really light, like 125 with all the gear on. My personal favorite was the nomad sfts, which are out of production.
I think, for a larger person than myself, the nomad rkrs would be a lot of fun. I found them very stiff and sort of strange at lower speeds, compared to JJs, which I thought were excellent for everything. But the nomads had so much pop under my feet, and got to turning properly when I was actually moving. I had 171s and I'm like 5'5"/167cm tall, the size was fine. I could see me liking them more if I was bigger. SInce the JJs are softer and have a tight turn radius, I found those more in tune with my skiing. I actually scared myself doing nollies, because I thought I was going to launch into a flip with all the pop on the nomads.
So I think you might enjoy them, since you're larger, or if you like stiffer skis. I've never been heavier than I am now, but I'd imagine more weight would cause skis to feel softer and bend nicely at slower speeds, solving the strangeness as slow speeds thing. I liked the sfts because their softness made them turn perfectly at all speeds for me, and they're jibby like a park ski. The rocker on the rkrs helps with that though.
