Installing Booster Strap to Full Tilt boots.

I was wondering how people are installing the Booster Strap on their Full tilt boots?
I have been reading a bunch of different things like wrap it around the back cuff and in front of liner (behind the tongue)
I spoke with a Booster Strap rep today who told me to wrap the Booster around the back of the liner (between the back cuff and liner) and over the front tounge. His reason was because there was no load on the rear cuff...
Any thoughts?

you definitely want it to go around the back of the boot, not the liner. as far as the front, you can do either in front or behind the tongue. if you have skinny legs, behind the tongue can help minimize room at the top of the boot, if you have normal/larger legs, in front of the tongue works just fine.
as far as mounting, unscrew the original straps, wrap the booster around so the elastic is in the front (even helps to tighten it a bit, but thats just my ocd wanting the elastic centered in the front when its tightened) and make a mark exactly where the mount holes should be (use a sharpie or something), and take the booster off. heat up a nail/icepick or something with a torch (lighter works too but not as well) and poke holes through where you want the screws to go. it is important to use a hot nail because it will melt the edges of the holes so the strap doesnt fray

i thought i read on tgr a while back that people were cutting a slit in the innermost elastic band so it would hold in place on top of the tongue, has anyone tried this?

never tried that. what i have heard of people doing is putting a small strip of grip tape (like skateboard stuff) on the tongue so the strap doesnt move. honestly though mine stays in place just fine
