20 minute delays when the goal post gets pulled down.

I think it is ridiculous to ban it, but at the end of the day I guarantee you not one fan stops watching football because people can't celebrate how they used to. It certainly makes the game more entertaining but really has nothing to do with the actual game itself.

Alfred the butler will keep hittin' home runs anyways.

i kinda liked the eagles because of vick the past few years. since his demotion i havent really followed them and shady is the only other player i kinda root for.

i am kinda biased against him, but there are a few red flags overall. like he had those games last year where he would end up with an awesome passer rating but had tipped receptions, dropped interceptions and just that luck factor.

there are guys who get too much credit for what they are doing and others get too much blame. i think foles is a little bit on the first side. if he proves me wrong, good for him, but i dont think he is as good as most people think he is.

In 2014, Buffalo Bills starting quarterback EJ Manuel will cost the team $2.02 million against their cap. Thanks to a lawsuit from a disgruntled fan, the Bills will pay roughly $1 million more than that just for their phone bill.

A U.S. District judge has issued a preliminary approval to a $3 million settlement in a 2012 class-action lawsuit filed against the team by Jerry Wojcik, a Bills fan who claimed the franchise violated the agreement of its opt-in texting service.

According to Stephen T. Watson of The Buffalo News, the suit claims the Bills promised no more than five text messages would be disseminated to fans each week. When Wojcik received 13 texts over a two-week span, he filed suit on behalf of the nearly 40,000 fans who subscribed to the service.

The settlement, which will be paid out in gift cards to the team store or the team's website, was approved in a Tampa Bay, Fla., court last week. Up to $2.5 million in vouchers will go to the estimated 39,750 fans who signed up for the service. The remaining funds will be distributed to Wojcik's attorneys ($562,500) and the plaintiff himself ($5,000).

Bills spokesman Scott Berchtold issued a statement on behalf of the team Tuesday, indicating it still felt it was within the spirit of the program:

The Buffalo Bills have reached a settlement in this matter which we believe is in the best interest of our organization and our fans. The purpose of the Bills’ voluntary, opt-in text messaging program was to provide our fans with information they requested about the team. The organization maintains that our text messaging program was in compliance with the law.

The Bills have since eliminated the text service, which was designed to provide breaking news and other stories to fans. Wojcik's suit claims he received six text messages the first week with the service and seven the second—three more than the allotted agreement states over a two-week span—and says the Bills violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

As per the settlement agreement, fans will receive debit-card vouchers for $57.50, $65 or $75, which can be redeemed at the team store or online at the team's website. A hearing has been set up for Aug. 20 for the settlement to reach final approval. Those who signed up for the service will then be contacted by mail and via phone to claim their prize.

While many have deplored Wojcik for the frivolousness of the suit, criticized his finicky, letter-of-the-law interpretation and hounded him about wasting taxpayer money, others may feel the opposite.

In the same way that Stella Liebeck once crusaded against McDonald's for those who did not know hot coffee was, indeed, hot, Mr. Wojcik is a pioneer against professional sports organizations who do not realize three-to-five is not, indeed, five-to-seven.

Anyway, considering how Bills fans have faithfully supported the franchise across 14 straight seasons of missing the playoffs, maybe they deserve a win for once. At the very least we should see plenty more EJ Manuel jerseys in Ralph Wilson Stadium next season.

This is the only thing preventing me from blowing a gasket. Seahawks seriously get 1 home primetime game? Really? And play a Monday-night game and Thursday-night game... in the same bloody week? Fucking vicious.

schedules arent easy to make and you guys got 'screwed' out of a grand total of one home primetime game

which has seemed to happen almost every year. The Cowboys, Eagles, Giants, and Patriots never seem to have that issue year in and year out.

There’s a far simpler explanation: The schedule happened to award Seattle just one primetime game at home. Given that the Seahawks-49ers game in San Francisco is on Thanksgiving night, their other kickoff at CenturyLink was almost certain to be in the afternoon. (The best divisional home-and-homes tend to be split between day and night.) That leaves just three more home opponents on Seattle’s schedule that would warrant a primetime kickoff: Denver, Dallas and the New York Giants. Those first two games are mega-matchups slated for CBS and Fox, respectively. The NFL needs to spread the television wealth and splitting the three biggest Seahawks home games to NBC, CBS and Fox is a fine way to accomplish that. The Giants game could have been a Monday Night Football kick, I suppose, possibly to replace Seattle’s Monday night trip to Washington on Oct. 6, but that’s a minor quibble that can be easily explained.

Ohhhh yeah. Lol all the QB's are on track to get overdrafted, Him going early in the second is pretty on par with everything else. Ever heard of Tom Savage? Me neither, but hes a borderline 1st round pick at QB. Then Bridgewater is assumed to be anywhere from 7-40, and Manziel anywhere from 2-20. Its shaping up to be one of the more wild and unpredictable drafts in the last few years. This is one of those years where teams change their entire image in one night.

Im actually excited after last year was such a bore.

This years draft is gonna be awesome. So many things can go down and nobody has any idea whos going where. I hope the texans trade out and someone drafts someone not named Jadavanonn or Kahellie or Jhnonnney.
