MartianManTom, what are the major differences between the Ghost and the FS? A 90 flex boot seems way too soft for any serious park skier, so will some of Sollys athletes head toward the standard Ghost?
There are a few differences between the ghost and ghost fs. They both use the same starting shell but the fs is widened to 100mm to give the forefoot some room for impacts. The cuff is slightly more upright on the fs too. 90 Is the stock flex but this can be stiffened to 100. But yes you are right for most of the athletes that is too soft so most still use the ghost 110. Its always tough making boots for athletes as what they want just will not sell. Most park riders dont want a narrow 130 flex boot, but that is what most pros want. So we have to make boots which will sell to the generall skiing population. So allthough the ghost fs may seem soft it will be great for alot of park riders and its a massive increase in performance over the spk.
