fraternities?

I was just thinkin about fraternities and I don't see why so many people join them? Don't they basically party together? I know you can get some life long hook-ups because of them, but what other benefits do they have? peace

fraternitys are generally for people who lack the social skills to go out and meet there own friends... so they join a fraternity, and pay a fee so that they can have friends to hang out with, as well as meet girls that they normally wouldnt be able to talk to.

yeah for real.. frats seem cool. but in reality they are not.... your best bet is to make friends with some frat boys and that way you'll get invited to there partys and be able to swoop there bitches.

you gotta pay a lot, like a couple hundred bucks a quarter at least at my school. my friend is living at his house next year, sharing a room, and still somehow paying more than me for rent. bum deal if you ask me.

They are groups of friends in college that party together and basically live together...they have big frat houses that they use. I dont know that much about them either.

co ed is just both sexes, like co ed dorms have girls and guys. And i dont really knwo anything about them either but you dont pay money for them to hang out with you, you pay money so that they can buy beer everynight

they're more organizations than groups of friends . . . people don't usually know each other before the whole rush process, and in theory, through all that, they become close and all, lifetime bros or whatever

my roommate/really good friend austin is in a frat...we make fun of him for paying for his friends all the time. frat guys at uvm are sketchy date rapists...we live at the top of frat row between all the frats and the school dorms so when freshmen come back wasted we take care of their asses...i don't like frat kids period

at my school frats are not to much more then dorms and hazing is very little the only reason i am going into one is because the one i'm rushing at is a huge outdoors house with some very cool skier...

frats are hella crappy, one of my hs taechers went to uvm and he went to a frat party where the frat guys were directing traffic away from the backyard, later on like three guys came in acting all cool and some chick was passed out in the yard...kinda really sketchy, so i say fuck frats.

sororiwhores are all trash. most of them are very dirty, in the clinical sense. bad news. my house last year was on the same road as all of the frats (lafayette street at WMU..riots!) and they started riots this year like 3 times. we went to one of their partys in the beginning of the year though and stole 2 kegs. we then made it a ritual to go around to the partys at like 2 in the morning and steal the taps off of their kegs( 40 dolla return!)

that didnt come out how i wanted it to....i dont have anything against jewish people, i just wanted to say that the majority of those girls are jewish. But that 1 girl is a freak and is not like the rest of them, i dont think she'll make it.
