Goals for 2014
So I'm not a big New Year's resolution kind of a guy, but that doesn't mean it's not a good time to evaluate training goals for the year ahead. Do you want to gain mass? Lose weight? Get stronger? Run further/faster? Compete in something?
My goal for 2014 is to qualify for the weightlifting nationals as a 105kg lifter. Means I need to drop about 20kg and my total (snatch + clean and jerk) needs to increase from about 238kg to 260kg. It's going to be a ton of work, but doable.
Nice you have a nice goal this year. This year my goal is get the job.
My physical goal of the year is to use my ACL rehab to get into the best shape I've ever been.
2014 goals are to go from 200 to 220 bench 300, and squat and deadlift 500. Plus hit the mountain more than the last few years.
