Same. It's actually a pretty stupid meme the more I think about it. The reason being that everyone feels they can just make a hilarious doge meme by writing "such ____" or "much _____" or whatever, so we end up with tons of shit doge memes and only a few genuinely funny ones.

can somebody with a bit more tech/coding savvy explain which miner to download (i have a 64 bit windows 8 lenovo thinkpad x1 carbon, 1.80 ghz intel cpu, 4gb ram) and how to get it up and running after unzipping? I'm just lost in the jargon of the tutorials and readmes

they are a currency so you can spend them on stuff just like money. They are still pretty new but soon I'm sure websites will pop up that will allow you to trade for cash.
