Whattup NS,
I've been working on these songs pretty much non-stop for the past three months and thought the folks here at NS would appreciate them more than anybody. I would describe them a as mixture of Psychedelic Rock, Hip Hop, and EDM. I can imagine they would be great for listening too while on the mountain or in an edit. They sound like shit over normal laptop speakers so I highly recommend hooking up headphones or speakers. If you like the songs and would like to support my work, they are available for download on itunes.

It's not even funny how similar to pretty lights these sound...not in a good way either.

I appreciate the feedback whether negative or positive. In the future I hope to refine my style a bit more. You were right in that I have always looked up to Pretty Lights so of course his influence rubbed off on my music, although his production skills are light years ahead of mine. But to be fair, isn't creativity the manipulation and recombination of what already exists?

I actually like Illusory Control so it's not all bad. But, there is is a difference between reinterpreting an existing work and simply copying ones style. I'm in no way a pretty lights fan but the first and last tracks you posted literally sound exactly like a few of his songs. The fuzzy wobble bass on those songs is just too similar to his song to get past, for me anyway. You seem to know what you're doing for the most part technically though so it won't be hard for you to progress. It sounds like you made this in logic if i'm correct?
