Went from EG2s to APXs, to IO-X. Never getting rid of my IO-Xs. EG2s had slightly better peripheral, but the IOs have better quality lenses, still awesome visibility, far better anti-fog and lenses can be changed in literally seconds.
In my experiences, APX are the worst in every category other than the price tag
The APX is a sweet looking goggle, but the frameless look means they have higher supports on the side of the frame as the lens can't be set back as far and still be smooth, the EG2 has better peripheral vision
but if your going to spend that much money, have you looked at Anon M2's?

I don't have that much bucks to spend...My limit is 100 bucks and managed to find some APX and eg2 at that price point.
Yeah going for eg2 then, altough apx looks super rad :(
Anyway how about oakley splice?Hate the outrigger, love fire iridium lenses and im sure oakley has great lens quality.Does electric have still good lens quality? Is it really super noticable?I want durabillity and peripherals just like I said...
I have ridden with splices for the past 2 seasons, and just recently switched to the oakley Canopy. you know why? because of peripheral... Oakley splice and crowbars are very similar, and no where close to IOX, EG2 or Canopy.
Id say oakley and smith have the highest quality lenses. Ive had electric goggles in the past, i just didnt like them. Thats just my opinion though.
