Night hiking

Just started going night hiking with my friend, we've been about 4 times and its one of the best things, anyone else do this?

I live in "bear country" we also have a lot of mountain lions. So not really unless you have a large group.

We dont really have to worry about anything but coyotes and skunks, my friend almost stept on a porcupine

night hiking is fuckin dope in the middle of winter on a full moon, the reflectiveness of the snow allows you to see really fuckin well, its like walking through a black and white movie.

Kinda fun if you're doing a predawn approach or starting a trip by mobbing in the night before.

Yeah night hikes are awesome, i usually bring a headlamp just incase but end up just letting my eyes adjust, definitely a lot of fun. Gives you a whole new perspective on trails that you may have hiked numerous times in the daylight.
