M&A Goals for the 2014 Season

Let's hear what you're wanting to achieve this season in filming, photography, or whatever else there might be to do in regards to skiing.

My personal goals:
1. Shoot more (Shouldn't be hard because I can't ski too hard for a while since I broke my neck this summer)
2. Put down the glidecam more and get a good variety of shots
3. Incorporate audio and sound design into my videos

What about you guys?

Another idea is to comment on someone else's post with something you'd like to see them do!

Winning the Pulitzer or getting a World Press Photo would be nice.

1. Build a decent portfolio of ski photographs
2. Get paid to take photographs that I like to create
3. learn to use fcp and ps as well as i can use lightroom
4. submit my decent portfolio to if3/freeskier/powder
5. create a mini series of edits

My goals this year are to ski as much as I can, have fun and take a few pictures/sequences !

Get out and take a lot more pictures. I feel like I'm stuck on campus cuz I don't have a car here so I can't get out much but I know that I should still be able to find ways to take pictures.
I also want to film a lot this winter and see what I can do with it. I love putting edits together but I never have much footage to make much.
With that, and having no money to spend on fancy camera equipment, I want to be as creative as I can with my limited resources.
As far as short term goals go, I've been wanting to walk over to the nearby golf course to take some star photography and make my way down to the lakefront for some sunrise/sunset shots.

Film/edit/produce 20 minute ski movie
Do more audio work

Become proficient in cinema quality AE special effects (probably not going to happen)

January will mark my first year with my DSLR, I feel like I have learned so much in this year, but I also feel like I am still far far far away from where I want to be.

My goals

1. Shoot more!
2. Take pictures that have more "meaning" to them.
3. Take pictures of skiing that are more than just snaps of action.
4. Make an actual online portfolio.
5. Shoot more!
6. Get off campus!
7. Create some images that are premeditated.
8. Continue to use strobes/buy more.
9. Consider composition much more than I have been!
10. Shoot more!

I also wanted to thank all of you NS'ers that have given critiques on my photos you guys always seem to be on point and I respect your experience.
