True story: within a week after Henrik's nose butter trip at X, I saw a youngin probably around 12 wearing his goggles backwards on his helmet. Also the literal butthurt from constantly falling.

I actually don't mind this one. I get that most people do, and I see where you're coming from, it just doesn't grind my gears as much as when I plow over that same kid in the landing of a jump because he doesn't know what he's doing and he should've started smaller. I feel like when kids use the lips as jumps they're just getting their feet wet and staying out of the way of the larger jumps (as well as preventing injuries and jump shutdowns), which I appreciate. Everyone's gotta start somewhere.

The most annoying thing to me is when the park hasn't been changed at all in 3 weeks in mid season.

It get's boring lapping the same features. I eventually go rip groomers or send cliffs to hard pack just to change it up.

Oh god, this is me. I started skiing park when I turned 17, and a year later, can only do safety grabs, (sometimes) 180s, and ride-on boxes (can't even do rails)

Meanwhile, at sunridge, some grade 5 kid is pulling corks, and twist-in/twist-out rails.

Makes me feel super depressed

i remember when i first started skiing park i would just hit the party boxes and 180 off the side of the bigger lips to what were the scary impossible rails. nowadays tho they also make tiny jumps for noobs to learn on. if the lip's wide enough and they go off the side no one looses.

Solutions:

1) Get a jacket the right size. Perhaps even a waterproof one.

2) Get poles that fit you. It makes cat-tracks and hiking much easier.

jackets? why would they wear a jacket? it's the winter and they're outside. jackets make no sense. 3xl tall hoodies are much more suited for winter

yeah its good and bad. I grew up riding all mt. so i would come to the same shitty park as part of my run. at coughpccough its sick cause i can ride park all day and then its new the next. Not sick when your sure you got a trick you worked on a few days earlier and just missed and come back to some completely different feature. good and bad.

How is that annoying? I've had situations where me and a couple friends would be at a party talking about park skiing when a mutual friend starts asking about it and within a couple weeks, he was out hitting boxes and rails with us. It was actually pretty cool.
