My skis stolen on the 1st of July

After a day at the lake yesterday i returned to the pleasant surprise of a kicked in door. This is the second time my house has been broken into, i am beggining to believe that my community is truly becoming a ghetto. My instant reaction was my skis, where are my skis. Sure enough, the geniuses who did the deed walked right through my living room, past dvd players, a surround sound system, TV and the like into my room. There nothing was altered except the resting place of my most prized possesions, a Pair of 01/02 Vinnie 10's and a brand new pair of unmounted Pocket Rockets. All gone to some drunk who likely shuns snow and craves lysol. Skiing is what i live for, and my skis are more important to me than my education (slight exageration). I need them back. If ANYONE on here has ANY clue about this disaster please post it here. Idea's regarding who would do such a thing, hearing about these skis turning up somewhere, or any words of wisdom that would help me accept the fact that a dumpster dweller will likely trade in my treasures for some JD's and a newspaper would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

that really sucks...try the police..i mean how much those skis costs over 500$ right my dads reciever was like 600$ and he could get the police on something like that..he does have connections in our local police...but it shouldnt matter much...
hehe some of the police come over our house on duty and have a drink

shit sorry to hear that, if anyone were to gank my skis i'd hunt them down and kill them, someone stole my longboard skate from my friend's party (we knew everyone there too) and i still haven't found it, although i'm gonna keep looking and watching everyone on skateboards until i do. then the fucker will die. i suggest you do the same with your skis. especially if you hear of anyone buying skis for real cheap..the guy who stole them will want to get them off his hands quick. good luck.

I hope you immediately looked for them for sale and checked play it again and ebay, he couldn't have been a skier he was just wanting crack I'm sure. There is no way you could ride on a pair of stolen skis you would nut yourself on every rail and hit every other tree.

Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.
