Touring in Full Tilt Boots?
I'm looking to buy a new pair of boots and I want to pair them with my Mr. Pollard Opus and Salomon Guardian binding. I was looking at full tilt boots and I was wondering if it would be possible to do some sidecountry/small backcountry tours with them. If so, which model is the best for this. Thanks a ton for the responses!
For just slack country touring, you don't need a proper AT boot. A pair of alpine boots that fit you well/properly will do the job just fine.
Keep then loose,
Some people even remove the tongues for the hike period to get a little more range. I've tried that way, didn't like it so much.
You'll be fine in full tilts though
Does anyone else feel aroused... and jealous... and worried?
ive skinned up with a pair of 2012 hot doggers and also the 2011 drop kick. was fine both times as long as you keep em loose!
They are light boots with great forward flex, they will be money!
They would work but make sure they fit your feet before anything
All times are Eastern (-4)
