I seen many interviews of professional rookies who are asked about their official "welcome to the big leagues" moment. For instance, a baseball player is confident and smiles at their first at bat, but gets drilled first pitch.
I'll share my moment first- I uploaded 2 clips of me straight airing the biggest jump at my hill (in my gaper days), then people kept on calling me out for not doing anything on it, I thought it was impressive (because I hadn't done anything like it before), but I definately received classic newschoolers hate (even though I had it coming, I just didn't realize it being a new member).
So my question being, what was your first official "welcome to newschoolers" moment?
When I was 13, I made a thread in gear talk asking if someone could sell me a G-Suit, and Big Spence did not take too kindly to it or my snarky remark.
I made a thread defending my friend that got scammed and Big_Spence called me gay so I got the thread deleted and changed my name. I was just a n00b and afraid to stand up to a kid that looks like a lizard wearing glasses.
I made a thread saying I didnt like Jiberish and literally got shit on for it. Looking back at it peoples reactions were actually pretty funny.
of course I was stupid and tried fighting back and just got shit on even more. And I remember I got karma raped hard and thats when I actually cared about karma.
