whats good to where under a helment to stay warm on those real cold days? Some type of baselayer cap or whatnot? iam look for somethng thin but warm. i know north face has polartec cap thats thin, anybody know of others? thnx
most of the time you will not need one. what i have is a turtle fur thing, with the little baldcalva thing that goes over the top of your head. it keeps your face warm. if you buy a big helmet, you can wear hats under it, but it wont fit without one.
opps, that was free advertising.
You don't want a helmet that is loose at all. It will allowthe helmet to slip out of position and also allow space for the helmet to accelerate in an impact. The helmet should be comfortably snug.
It is what I would do if it were me. It's not me and neither are you.

a gore-tex doo rag will do the trick
don't take me for a joke, i'm no comedian. too many mental problems got me snortin' coke and smokin' weed again.
no doubt, sit back on the couch, pants down, rubber on, set to turn that ass out. Laid the bitch out, then i put it in her mouth, pulled out, nutted on a towel, then passed out.
i wear the giro 9. usually i just wear nothing under it, but if it's really cold i'll pull out all the pads on the inside and wear my handmade crocheted beanie inside the helmet. the beanie is really thick and comfy, and when you pull out all the pads on the inside of the helmet, it fits perfectly on my head and remains comfortably snug, without being too small.
my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.
