So uhhhh....sorry for all the random thread etc. the past few days. I just realized last week that it didn't matter if no one wanted to read what I wrote, if one person did, it was worth it. I posted on the forums I couldn't figure out how to make a blog on NS. Who knew they took out member blogs...what a crack of bullshit...I would pay $5 a month to have a member blog on NS no doubt...


But, without further ado, here is the blog,

Paris police aren't dicks, they are just following orders, you can't perform on the street unless authorization has been given by the prefect or the town hall, which in Paris is so hard to get to be nonexistent. However quite often performers are tolerated, if they are not too noisy, not a obstacle on the pavement, and the cops are in a good mood.


Also your layout gives me a rather intolerable pain in the gulliver.

I fucking hate my layout...But I have no clue what to do with it or whatever....

And these two guys were dicks. There were other French Street performers with no permits, and even if I wasn't supposed to be there a simple 'pack up your stuff and leave' would have sufficed not trying to steal my juggling stuff and taking my money.

I mean other cops drove by in cars and did nothing. Then to little fresh outta the academy pricks on peddle bikes with no guns have to wave their dicks around and push around the foreigners. ridiculous.

They don't like permit-less foreign street-performers 'stealing' income from their own permit-less street performers.

The French are xenophobes and regardless of how bitchy the police reacted, what you did might not have done any arm but it was illegal by French law.

You could have seen it coming.

I definitely did see it coming and I get why they did it. But I'm in Prague now, and I went busking today and one cop put 100 crowns in the hat. I can complain about stuff even though it makes sense, even if I would have done it in their situation it can still piss me off.
