4x4'ers of NS: Light Bars?

Hey NS, I'm wondering if anyone runs LED Light Bars on their trucks at all. Or if anyone has any knowledge to what are the best/worst and cheapest. Is it even rational to buy a 50" bar, or do more smaller bars with a good flood/spot ratio work just as well? How do they compare to some bumper or rack mounted Hellas?

Light bars are real pricey and only about 20% of the lights on the market are actually worth buying (majority made in china with really low quality). Light distribution is fantastic but I'm pretty sure you can only legally only use a 50" bar on private property or bushland due to the fact that they are to bright to use on roads. Bars are expensive so it is worth paying a couple hundred bucks extra for a quality product.

What to look for:
- Quality LED's
-Quality reflectors (ones that look like a mirror rather than a dull panel)
- Resistant housing (e.g. waterproof, dust proof, cooling system)

A Rigid industries meets this criteria

What not to look for:
-poor quality led's
-bad reflectors (not a mirror like panel)
-cheap manufacture (shortcuts, low quality parts)
-Not resistant (e.g. no waterproofing, overheating)

This chinese made one below is manufactured by the same company that makes roo systems and tiger 11 light bars. Do not go shopping for these ones,

Both those companies supply good quality lights. There a both built off the same basic platform and design which most leading companies follow. Toughlight and trux-tech are virtually the same product as the rigid industries light (high quality aluminium body, waterproof, dustproof, high quality led's, high quality reflectors.). personally i would prefer to purchase a tough light because of the more versatile mounting systeml. But even saying this the smaller LED light bars made by toughlight are built to a lower standard than the larger ones but still makes them a quality product.
