certainly not bad, but I think it could be better. the shots were mostly pretty well done and the music was fun. among others, I really liked the clip at 1:00!
after a second watch it became more apparent that you put more time into choosing where to place your shots than I had originally thought, so that's cool--I like how the shot of the trail sign matches with the lyrics about following someone, and then leads into shots from the top of the mountain (~1:00).
my main critique is the ending--it kinda goes from a nice build up and I'm groovin' and enjoying it and there's sweet mountains and ocean and whales n stuff and then it's like we run out of gas and slow to a halt and haven't really reached our destination haha.
I haven't heard that song before, but I think if you work with what the song has to offer, you could close it better--it's pretty fun and upbeat so you could cut it off more succinctly, rather than fading it out, and really leave the viewer on a high note. basically, give the ending a feeling of finality, of completion, and you'll have greatly improved. just some simple ending credits of sort might even help, as a start.
don't forget that the beginning pulls us in and the ending keeps us coming back.
hope that helps!
i used magic bullet looks. shot flat then just started with curves and a 3-way. I pushed like a blue/green tint since in almost every shot there was water/sky/trees. Really just basic stuff, I'm no expert so I'm not going to be throwing on crazy post filters when I don't know their purpose
