Hey everyone, I just got new skis for this season (Scratch's) and I just came back from a few hours of skiing in Mont Saint-Sauveur and they have a kinked and a straight down about 8 inches wide. I tried railing them a few times but each and every time i either had to jump it off in the midle or i was kinda lagging on it (there was no sliding what so ever, it felt like concrete). Normally you'd prolly say that this is cause I really cant stomp rails, but actually I usually dont have any probs with rails. Could it be because of the new skis, I tought it's because the skis have brand new edges and maybe they cut in the rail, and that would be my rpoblem because i was used with old skis wich had their load of rails. Anyways, could you guys tell me what you think, could it really be becaus eof the ski edges and if so whats should I do, or is it just me who lost the touch for stomping rails. I believe photos of those rails are somewhere around on the website. It's in mont saint-sauveur.
Btw, could i use something to deshrap my edges or it just comes with time?
