Why do people "bump" threads? You're not bringing up a post you're bringing up a thread. You aren't bringing up your own thread either which is why the "m" in bump doesn't make any sense either. But i've found the solution instead of saying:

Bring
Up
My
Post

you can say:

Bring
Up
This
Thread

BUTT!

a thread is a collective of posts. the reason anyone would bump their own thread anyways is so that people see the OP.
