What skis!! HELP!?

Sup guys! I am 160lbs about 5'11 and I ride mostly park with occasional groomers...Just wondering what would be a good ski for me..I live in MN so there is a lot of hard pack riding..After my senior year I am planning on moving out west so I will have more powdery opportunities..Just wondering what the best ski would be for me! I really want to get into big booters but i also love jibbing..is there a good all around ski for that?? i was looking at the Armada T-Halls as well as the Armada halos..Any suggestions!? THANK YOU!!!!

What are you looking for out of your ski? Do you like Stiffer skis (better for jumps and groomers) or do you want softer skis (for butters and rails)?

As a fellow Minnesota turned out west skier (i waited til I was out of college because I was stupid) I'd recommend a wait for a pow specific ski.

Buy a good Park-specific ski for this coming season. Hold off on somthing pow specific til you move out west.

Then after you chose a place out west to live at next year, save over the summer and buy a specific pow ski, geared towards the area you live in. Colorado and utah has drier snow so you can get buy a less fat ski. PNW or Alaska has wet snow so you need a much fatter skis to go throught the snow. 

If you want more info about moving out west pm me. An ON3P is a small indy ski company out of Orgeon. They are up and coming ski compeny. High durabilty skis.

I always thought the Filthy Richs and Halos looked like a really fun ski. Never tried either but for just jibbing around on the east coast, they seem great

^^this helped a lot!!! I guess for MN id be better off with a softer ski that will still hold up on occasional booters...Would the On3p skis be good for that? And ill save up like you said for some pow specific skis!

Sounds like the Filthy rich would be the ski you would like. The problem is they sell fast. A 181 would probably be a good size for you. When they come out for the coming season get one fast cause they are not gonna last long.
There are more skis out there. You just have to decide what you want out of your skis. Just spend some of your time looking for a pair and save money til you see. you can always search bar for reviews or just make a new thread on a ski you think is good but just want to double check.
