Obama recently addressed all the scandals that he has been of recent involved in, Including IRS Abuses and Benghazi. He stated the following and i quote "With an endless parade of distractions, political posturing and phony scandals, Washington has taken its eye off the ball,"

IS THIS DUDE SERIOUS??? Phony scandals??? REAALLLY??
Last time i checked, lying about the deaths of an US Ambassador and multiple Marines to the country is certainly not "phony"....

Can we get this fucking retard out of office already?
Also if i see Hilary Clinton on a ballot after all this shit she has been involved in with these scandals, I am moving to Canada, And i hate Canada.

The attack on Benghazi is most interesting. As for the cover-up, the root of the public version of this scandal lies specifically in the accusation of the Ambassador’s requested help during the attacks. Although, there were troops close by they were instructed to stand-down. Clinton and officials within the Obama administration tried to pretend that the event was the escalation of a protest over the innocence of a Muslim video on YouTube. The MSM gained much attention publicizing and informing the masses in regards to this video, and what was the main justification in the hearings. Nevertheless, assistance was intentionally denied and the government will deny it enduringly. Hence, officials at high levels of the state department had reason to want Ambassador Stevens dead. Now, retired veteran General Jerry Bowden, former deputy under secretary of defense for intelligence and former head of US special forces command said that, this event likely had to do with the fact that the US government was channeling weapons to Syrian rebels through Benghazi and in addition, Stevens was most likely in charge of the operation. This covert action program is something the government would deny, but only executed after congress has been briefed on it and the president signs a finding. This is all conjecture; however questions worth asking such as did Stevens have a dispute with the administration? Was he about to blow the whistle on US plans to topple Syria? Did it have something to do with framing the Syrian government for chemical weapons all the way back in January? If Jerry Bowden were correct, then Stevens would have known about this operation. Unless, a real investigation is conducted no one will know the truth. SO, he didn't lie.

First of all you're take me way to seriously in a political thread, I never claimed to be an expert, I'd say most of my posts in this thread have been me fucking around.

As for young kids, I was 14/15 once before (weird right?) and i knew kids who "thought they knew everything" and they're all fucking idiots. They listen to what their parents say and whatever bias news source they look up after they get done jacking off every night.

No one under the age of 18 has a clue about politics, everything they say is a reproduction of something they read the day before. I don't care how nerdy you are about politics, you don't even pay for your own expenses, you are still in high school and have zero responsibilities, go kick rocks.

Ha not at all, but I knew that you would think I was defending Obama. I'm not, in fact that last part of my post was directly criticizing him but I guess that kind of went over your head. What I'm saying is try to educate yourself so you actually know whats going on rather than ignorantly jumping on the "I hate obama because he's a socialist muslim" train. I don't disagree that Obama has made a lot of questionable decisions, but there is reasoning behind his decisions and to effectively argue against what he's done you need to understand that.
Thats why I brought up the NSA thing, the reason that Obama was able to expand its powers so greatly was because people like the OP feel that Muslims are an extreme threat to the US and elect representatives that are willing to expand the government's power in the name of security. Then when Obama used the Patriot Act to expand the power of the NSA the same group that supported the idea of expanding governmental power in the name of security is the group that complains the loudest. Instead of thinking about how their own ideas and actions may have influenced the current situation they shift all the blame to Obama (who does deserve criticism) and ignore the influence that their own actions had on the situation rather than trying to come up with a counter solution to the issue of security vs freedom.
It seems that in politics right now the "left" and the "right" spend way more time and energy blaming the other group for issues that they themselves helped create than actually trying to come up with solutions to the problems.

last i checked w. bush was also almost universally despised during his time in office and was seen as a shitty president who was ruining America for generations to come. Maybe it's time we step back and realize that the problem with our country right now goes far beyond the guy sitting in the oval office and that it's pretty stupid to put all that much blame on whoever it is.

look at european countries. "we" have way more healthcare features, some countries even mimimum salaries or high unemployment "help"

every single one of those things was criticized as fuck when it became introduced. economists said (recently, the UK installed a minimum salary and economists thought the whole economy would blow up) its a big deal every single time.


a lot of these things end up being ten times less worse than all these smart guys think it is.

My issue is not with the minimum salaries nor the idea for socialized healthcare. My issue is how he presented it and stuck it down the throats of MANY people who did not want it. Obviously this is never going to be a one sided decision for many reasons, but when the masses of people (unions) who supported the bill start retracting on it, you know it will have to be fixed or altered. This bill right now is hurting more people in the small business industry than it is helping. When people are being downgraded from full time to part time because businesses need to save money in the torrid economy. Could this have worked 15 years ago? Maybe. Can it work currently? IMO no. Not with how it is currently designed to work.

And to address the Ehv statements of saying many people are influenced by their parents at a younger age, he has a point. Many of you havent even taken a basic political science course covering the US government and how it works, what the parties stand for, and how fucked up it truly is. This is not a criticism nor is it a complaint, BUT people do need to educate themselves so they can made a truly educated decision about their votes for the next elections. Our country is at the whims of the politically uneducated masses during these elections, and if people WANT change, know who you are electing in and out. Dont base your vote off one thing (like legalization of marijuana) because it still needs the entire house and senate to sign off. Try to find something you stand for, whether its social equality, economic equality, or free market.
