So I Have some cash and with that cash I have to buy my season pass and also buy a pair of skis (perferibly twin tips) is craigslist any good and is there any other places I could buy skis that would give me a great deal?
I imagine finding decent skis on craigslist is a bit of 'minefield', post up some links to any you're interested in and we'll probably be able to say. Its also worth just having a look in different ski shops near you, as it is summer so they're will be killer deals around. As far as online goes you're best bet for cheap skis is untracked.com ,they have tinned of skis from previous season at really good prices. Hope this helps, Joey
I think that Schlopy was sent from the future by Newschoolers version 16.7, which has gained consciousness and decided to destroy skiing's past in order to win the style vs. Tech argument in the future.
No, for how long and hard you will have to look it is not worth it. I used to check all the time thinking I would stumble upon a gem and there was never anything worth considering. The latest 'find' of something I'd want is a pair of JJ's with Griffons for $825. The guy knows literally nothing about how they are mounted or what the BSL of his boots are yet, he won't go lower than 750.
