Give an Aerialist a Newschool trick to try

Since I water ramp almost every day of the summer, the daily grind of on-axis tricks, flipping and twisting as much as humanly possible as penciled as humanly possibly gets boring around this time of year. Give me your favorite newschool trick to do, and I'll go try it this weekend and film it.

Gimmie some nice off axis flippy twistys.

Dub flat 10, or 14. See Henrik Haurlauts killington dew tour run to see a 10, he also tried a dub flat 14 at a big air comp if you wanna look it up. Super sick trick. Do it. You won't.

No one cares. Dylan Fergie is one of the best aerialists in the country/world and he's been mixing park and aerials for years now. Sorry kid, go find some other shtick other than attempting tricks into fucking water... you know kind of like what he does even though he stomps them on 80ft. park jumps.

that opens for a couple questions I have:

do aerialists ever spin in the opposite direction? or is it pretty much all one way spin as much as possible? does everyone learn to spin in the same direction?

Most aerialists never spin the other direction. We don't get more points for spinning the other way, and if you did spin unnatural, I'd be very surprised if any judges would notice. Spinning direction when first learning is all preference, whichever way feels more comfortable is the way you twist.

On a side note, a guy on my team did a full doublefull last year on the water ramps spinning the first full to the left, and then the doublefull on the second flip to the right. It was fucking gnarly I wonder if I can find video.
