So on these imac G4s, are you able to get a 60gig hard drive on the 12inch?

If you've seen the new imac, you'll see that anything is possible.

I am the owner of an IBOOK G4 and its a piece of shit. I had to replace it after only a month of owning it cause the LCD screen blew - on its own.....it was a HUGE pain in the ass -the keyboard sucks, and more. i hate it.

^^ F - You...and I do know how to use the macs...I am in school for media design.....and i LIVE off it.....BUT - since you think your so smart there smarty pants.....IT DID 'just break like that', and they LITERALLY tossed my old machine, and gave me a new one. Unsalvageable - and that was direct from the MAC techs.

I'm on my 2nd Ibook and my third mac laptop in 5 years, upgraded for performance, and I have had a few issues... as time has gone on they've become a little less reliable as far as hardware goes. The one I'm currently using had its motherboard replaced during the summer. Overall, though, they've served me much better than all of the PC laptops I (and relatives) have used. And I have no idea what you're talking about with the keyboard, Jodi, I think apple keyboards are really nice. Although mine has had issues with the paint (the letters) coming off a bit. Not that that has any practical repercussions, it's just a bit uglifying. Overall, I think the Ibooks are the best option for a combination of long-term performance and durability. I think Jodi just had a bit of bad luck.
