I see you little crazy bastards out there on the rails you guys are sick. I'm in my mid 20's I just started hitting the park like 3 years ago. It's to late for me to progress on jibs but you young guys keep progressing the sport. Watch out for me on the hits, I'm killin it out their.

yeah I hit what I thought was a jump with a landing but it had a rail in the middle I split the uprights. It was at Snow, the week before there was no rail.

I had a powder day last year at JH, and pulled a muscle in my lower back on somethin stupid, I HAD TO SIT OUT THE REST OF THE DAY. We got dumped on too. Only like two years ago I woulda bounced right back up from that shit

i'm glad to see that there are others out there who aren't 'old,' but notice that they can't take a nasty spill and get right back up like they used to. i broke my ankle at the beginning of this summer and am just getting back to 100%. like someone else said...fuck, like two or three years ago, i would have been back to full strength in half the time!

I wish I was born 10 years later than I was, these young kids are fun to watch. Too bad most of the kids their age aren't willing to work hard to master a skill like these kids are. Most kids (not the core kids)are all about instant gratification. p.s. For you young ones, try to find and listen to the originals most of your music is sampled from.

Uhh let's not point it out, i am only 19 but i ride dh all summer and then thrash my body skiing all winter . I notice my prob's but i want to ignore them untill i cant walk so shut it. I cant sit in my truck for more than an hour anymore without my back like tweaking out.

i had no fear when i first started, my dad got me on skis at age 3 and i was on the double blacks by 7. If i would have started now i would be more reserved with my skiing if i have kids ill be sure to get them out at an early age too

I remember when there where no terrain parks.

Then there were terrain parks only for snowboarders, ski patrol always chased after me and tried to kick me out. Cuz I was a skier that sucked!

But at least now the terrain parks are open to everyone.

Yeah, i had some fear issues, but when it comes down to it, i think I also get more charged to go huge. I can actully STOMP out my landings whereas some of those little twirps make everything look like it's on a miniature scale. Still, when they start getting big, they get wicked sick.

im 16, i guess that makes me young. right? anyways i hurt myself on rails all the time as well but i do a martial art, aikido, which ive been doing forever and now i cant really hurt myself falling anymore, im serious you guys or the younger ones who arent so brittle :P should go do judo or something if im going to fall and its not on my head it doesnt matter, its aweeesome, so people are always like man your crazy, but ive never got hurt so its cool

Well I'm 18, and i've been riding motocross a lot longer than I've been skiing. LOL it's kinda true that we bounce, but I think i'm on my way out of that phase at 18...gettin older. Oh well. I remember when i was like 16 I dumped my bike real hard up at the track, and other than being dirty I was fine. Now when i take a hard fall either on snow or dirt, I hop back up, but something hurts. lol I messed up my wrist last season at Killington, and it's never been the same since. All this 'pop and crack' stuff is buggin me. lol. Keep on rippin youngin's.

i'm 30. my skis in 1995 were k2 tnc 212's. a pair of k2 extremes 207's. i learned to do 720's on a pair of k2 stuntman 198's. i tell you what, i dont miss that shit. skiing is so cool and stylie now. back then it was all about moguls.....yawn

Hey, just cause you're not a teenager doesn't mean you can't progress. I haven't been the age of most of the people on this forum for a long time and I'm still progressing. I agree about the rails though, all I can muster up the nuts to attempt are the kiddy rails in the kiddy park that aren't more than a couple feet off the ground. That way if I slid off I don't nut myself. (that and I don't really want to destroy my skis.)

Take my dad for example. He's almost 60 and he's still skiing bumps. 50 is the new 30, so live it up my man....we're still in our prime.

Hey I'm definetly not complaining I live to ski, I fuckin rip anything, I'm just saying I don't really mess with rails because they hurt. I love watchin the youngins progress thats what its all about. By the way Iron Crosses are still look cool. I work out like 7 days a week I am probably in better shape than alot of you little whipper snappers.

im 16 and when i fall i take hard falls, it doesnt hurt me so much because i learned to ignore the pain, thats what u gotta learn how to do instead of bitch about it, and if u consider me young, then ill gurantee u my knees are not in perfect condition but everyday i wake up i feel like im going to kill myself walking down the stairs
