My name is Mattias, I live in Norway. I ride ski almost every weekend in the ski season. I am an advanced skier in the park and the pow. Next year i'm going to move to whistler for the ski season. I have skis here in Norway but I want to buy new skis for both park and pow when I come to Canada.
I am 187 cm tall and a weight of 70 kg. My budget is 1550 usd. Where 850 usd is for park and 700 usd is for pow.
In the park: I like to play on jumps(all sizes), rails, and just play in the slopes. I want i lightweight, lively and responsive ski. I want the ski that is durable after a long day in the slopes where i'm going hard, and hitting all elements.
I wish that the ski is bamboo and carbon.
In the pow: I like to ride in the trees and and jump in the pow. The skies I have has an extreme flex! I like this because it is always fun to ride. This is someting I want in the new ski. I also like to ride the mountain but not necessary as fast as humanly possible, i like fast and big turns, and also to drop. Basically what i want in a ski is to enjoy the ride and have a smile on my face down the slopes and the way up the chairlift because i can't wait for more.
I would prefer if the skis were handmade, and not a big company like K2, scott and atomic. This is because I like to be the only one to have that kind of skis and feel like a am helping and representing with the skis. So more people will buy it! :)
I would also prefer the design to be plain, not all crazy and full of colors. The easier the design the better.
Here are some park skis that i have checked out what do you think are the best for me? :)
