I was wondering what you guys think the best freestyle ski glove is. I am looking for one that is nice and warm on those cold days but will keep your hands dry on the slushy days. Thanks
Not the Armada Throttle. Strap keeps coming undone, horrible. Best option is to get 2 pairs, a really cheap pipe glove and a warm pair for the pow dais.
All the gloves I have found best have cost me bugger all and are not 'ski gloves' when its properly cold on piste I use freezer work gloves (rated for winter on oil rigs) and they cost me about £5 a pair, I also have a pair of winter leather gardening gloves that cost me about £10 and I applied some saddle treatment to them to make them pretty much waterproof. For spring riding Ive always used my mechanics gloves, goat skin palm and they are pretty water proof too. All in my gloves cost me about £20.
Hestras ar really good. I do prefer leather gloves/mitts, because you can take care of them by rubbing leather wax/other treatment for leather to make them last longer. Had my empire gloves for like 3 years before they ripped. My hestra seth pros are still up an running after 4-5 years!
