Had my first trip to the "penis" doctor this week. I always imagined I would be a lot older when I would have to visit a urologist, but whatever. Was super worried about it, but had no reason to be, things are fine.
We're going to try some other treatment options before we jump into surgery. He said since it wasn't super painful or severe that he would like to hold off on surgery until more conservative treatments have been tried. He came (rimshot) across very professional and was friendly and explained everything really well, and wasn't too weird when looking and feeling it. If I do have the surgery I'm sure he'll do a great job.
I mean I would love to be able to give you some kind of opinion on alternative treatments. But when it comes to varicocele I pretty much know it's symptoms and physiology, and that 90% of the time it's on the left side. I'm sure your urologist told you much more than I can but if you'd like me to do some research into it I can.
My friend Afterbanged so hard, he broke both legs, his hip, 4 ribs, caused an avalanche, and killed everyone within a 100mile radius of the 'bang. But it was still not 'too much' bang. nickyp

No for real he is 26. Time for him to stop sliding on hand rails and get a real job. ParryWithAnA
Ya. I could tell he has a busy practice, but still spent a good deal of time talking we through everything. Is indeed on the left. I was really worried about it and infertility, and he really calmed my worries in that realm.
It was a different surgery than the one you're looking into I think.
It was like having your balls perpetually kicked for awhile. But in truth, the surgery itself put me out of commission for like 3 days. What really got me was being allergic to every painkiller known to man, which you shouldn't have to worry about
I found something down there and I went to like a local clinic and they thought it was a varicocele but I had a follow up with a urologist and got an ultrasound. Turns out it was a spermatocele. Thankfully it isnt much of anything to worry about.
