Amateur Fame Awaits:

Saga Outerwear is looking for a new AM to add to their already star studded roster. This contest may be the springboard you need to launch a lucrative professional career or it may just be your 15 minutes of amateur web video fame. Saga is putting the fate of their next Am in the hands of the public.

Rules:

Collect and compile your best shots from the 2012/13 season and submit to the designated contest page on the Saga Facebook between June 1st and 20th.

Voting:

One winner will be selected by popular internet vote to receive a 1 year sponsorship from Saga Outerwear. This lucky individual will receive gear from Saga for the entire season as well as having their pictures and videos spread around the world via Saga’s vast social media platforms.

Additionally:

The Saga team will choose their favorite entry to receive a jacket and pant combo. So even if you don’t have any friends but you think you have skills there is still a chance to walk away a winner.

Submission and Voting opens June 1st, 2013

83 is the birth year of one of the founders. So there is a possibility the idea for Saga has been alive since 83

Despite the contest format having its difficulties we have crowned a winner. The winner of an Am sponsorship as well as the winner of the team choice edit who will receive a jacket and pant combo will be announced tomorrow.

Well the wait is over. The winner of the Am Sponsorship Edit contest is Martin Solhaugen!
Martin is 18 years old from Oslo, Norway. He has been skiing since he was 13 years old. Skis in Varingskollen about 50% of the time of his ski season, and the rest of the season you can find him in the street catching tranny's and rails. He is a part of a crew called Wordup Media and you will see a lot more of him hitting street features in the up comming movie "Concrete Jungle". He currently rides for Dynastar & Rossignol Norway.

"The Number one reason for why I partisipated in this competiton is that I would really love to represent Saga! The clothing looks really sick this year and I cant wait to get my hands on it!"

We're stoked to have Martin join our gang.

The announcement of the team choice pick for a free jacket and pant combo will be announced later this week. Thanks to all who submitted and voted.

After much deliberation the Sagafam has chosen their favorite video to award a free jacket and pant combo to. The lucky man is Josh Karcher.

Josh is 20 years old and grew up skiing in Boise, Idaho. He started when he was eight and has been lovin it ever since. When he graduated high school he moved out to summit with a bunch of idahomies. The past two years have been the sickest yet for him. Skiing some of the best parks out and gettin after a lot of urban. He plans to stay next year too, "It's tough to leave this place" he says.
