One day, randomly searched trampolines on craigslist. Saw one for 50, called asked to come look at it. Got address talked trampoline down to 35. this was a 14 ft tramp with net in solid condition. Snagged it up, Owned it for about 3 months. Jumped on it almost every day. Then mowing the lawn i cracked the frame, used it as a lax back stop then brought it to the scrap yard and got 20 some for scrap metal.

i actually love craigslist

bought my first twin tips (rossi scratch pro w/ bindings) for $200

then bought 2010 k2 hellbents with jesters for $400 pretty much brand new

then yesterday bought a 2003 VW golf that came with brand new stereo,speakers, summer and winter tires, roof racks, and a cargo carrier

all in all, that website has treated me well and i love it

Saw a trampoline on there last fall for around 100, seemed reasonable since it was new that summer. I drove about a half hour to get there and at first i saw about a dozen cats on the porch. I didn't think much of it, cat ladies are usually just lonely. When i went around the back there was like a little mini slum with burning barrels, people coming in and out of broken down campers and shacks etc. Regardless, in the back corner was my trampoline. A woman came out, helped me load it up, and i was on my way. It was just kind of creepy to come across at first.

many reasons. too small, too sketchy, cant do anything on it except fronts and back flips because if you dont land dead center it launches you off. it just got too frustrating and i knew i could make some decent cash so i sold it. And this is my last summer home and i'm working my ass off all day

my uncle is good friends with Dave Matthews and so he gives me concert tickets whenever he comes around. I didn't want the tickets he gave me so I put them on Craigslist and someone told me they'd give me a really nice guitar and $800 for my two tickets. We met up at Sonic and he told me he didn't have the money or the guitar but he would buy my a nice lunch. So naturally I gave him a good backhand and walked away until he chased after me and said he was just kidding. Successful trade.

Bought my longboard used for 135 off Craigslist the other day. My friend was riding it while holding onto the side of my other friends SUV. Long story Hirt board ends up under tires of car, driver rolls off, boards fine besides for some scratches. Arbor knows how to make a longboard

I was talking to a friend the other day who bought a full golf set and a bag off of craigslists for $150. When he got home, he went through the pockets and found $350 worth of the guy's cash in the bag. He tried calling him and asking if he forgot gambling money in his bag but they dude never picked up and continued to blow off my friend's email attempts so it was his for the keeping.

Not a bad trade if you ask me.

So last summer I was lurking craigslist for an Ipad... I ended up finding an 2nd gen ipad for pretty damn cheap so I sent the guy a text, knowing it was so cheap I knew I had to act on it quick and told the guy i'd buy it. It was about 9 at night and this guy ended up living an hour away up near seattle. I texted my friend to come with me and he was down so we pretty much said fuck it lets do it. I go grab cash out of the ATM on the way and I get a call from the guy, he randomly asks me if I smoke, I told him I didn't anymore but my friend with me does. (the guy sounded sketch as fuck). We continue driving up there and finally get there after getting lost at like 10:30 at night, its some sketchy house with one light on. We go knock on the door and it ends up being some 22 year old drop out looking kid, and he tells us to go down in his basement. We go down there and as I get to the bottom of the stairs I notice the door to my right was closed but light was glowing out. We continue down the hall and theres about 5 older guys smoking. . We end up chilling with them until midnight, smoke with them, play some xbox, the guy shows me the room that was lit up and it ended up being a grow opp. One guy pulled out a knife and played for it for a little bit was a little sketch, finally we end up buying the Ipad and going home. Pretty sketch/chill.
