Jokes aside, I am EXCITE. Good stuff should come from this.
Or there will be too much power going to one guy's head, and the whole thing will collapse. Skiing and Snowboarding will be no longer, and skiboarders will have the last laugh.
"Well, if Rimjobber were to insert dildos up your bum for every terrible thread that you have made, he would have shoved up so many that they would start to come up your trachea. But as they got closer to coming out your mouth, Rimjobber would have ran out. But when he went to the dildo store, they would be fresh out of dildos and he would have to remove one though you mouth and re insert it in your bum to continue the punishment, thus resembling a stack-able pencil." - JakeSmith
Who knows if the Freeze assets even came with the deal, or if they even exist.
I'm not positive on where I stand that launching another full-bore magazine into the ski industry would be a good move right now. Its so crowded already and there's declining dollars... the worst thing ever would be to see it fail.
Bottom line though if there's back issues out there then that's a no brainer. More than that requires serious thought.
I think you could have another ski mag on the market for sure. I say look at the snowboard market, or the skateboard market. Right now there is no PURE park skiing magazine out there right now. Freeskier kind of caters to that market, but still covers tons of BC stuff. You also have SBC Skier, but again...I would even dare to say that they market mostly to the BC crowd.
Ski Time is almost a proof of concept in this sense but just not explored to its fullest potential. I think a resurrection of Freeze would fill that hole in a pure park skiing orientated magazine. There are definitely enough kids that just ride park these days to make it work.

Skiers have genetically bigger cocks......its science
Never mind starting a new print media rag. No reason to compete in that decaying form of media.
Take the Freeze brand / attitude and make it a weekly online show or something to that regard.
We can really Ask Brad things and see him respond (or if he's grown up we can find someone currently living an equally debaucherous lifestyle), hear the cigarettes in the sexy lifties voice (real men find it hot), spotlight edits from up and comers... it would be sick to see the Freeze aura life again and a show would be pretty damn entertaining.
Imgaine the Freeze style coverage of Sochi? It'd have to be something Hunter S. Thompsonesque with lots of Vodka and large russian mountain women.
Honestly I prefer magazines, I still subscribe to Freeskier and Powder. An online show would just be mixed in with the thousands of others but a magazine is more concrete. I'm not sure how many other people agree with this but there have to be some.
