Yah I mean the term "finance" is so broad there are so many different areas you can get into. Corporate Finance, Capital Markets and Financial Advisory are three completely different beasts however.
I'm going into the Capital Markets space and I think that is the most interesting area to be in. That is the world of Hedge Funds, Private Equity, M&A, Capital Raising, and Equity Research. Wide open career paths in my opinion.
Corporate Finance seems pretty boring to me unless you are in Biz Development or their internal M&A arm.
Financial Services like Financial Advisory is pretty gay too.
