My friend had a 2002 or 2003 9-5 Aero in high school and it was pretty fun to drive, but man was that thing ugly. Old Saabs are even worse. I can't even look at them without cringing. Disgusting cars.
Ok I'll just disregard couple of mechanics opinions cause they're "pussys" and listen to what you have to say. Cause you sound like you know what your talking about
my Saabaru, before plasti-dip, after plastidip, and after tint. reliability of a wrx, styling steez of saab. I can't believe ns hates saabs, I guess e40's, mk1s and wrx's are the only cars anyone on here drives
Saab's are cool, but I'll stick with my volvo wagon. I think an early 90s Saab wagon would have been awesome, but I don't think they ever did anything like that.
SAABS are literally the most unreliable cars in the history of cars. At least the 2002 turbo-charged automatic SAAB 9-3. Jeeps are cheaper and significantly more reliable as well as fords and Holdens.
i read the title of this thread as SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAB and had no idea wtf you were talking about. opened up the thread and Oooohhh! saabs. ok. cool funny story isnt it? yea cool story bro. thanks bro. np dude.
The Santa Bearded Saabaru 92-x Aero! 2005. No real mods yet except for a turbo gauge and oil temperature gauge. Got a Groupon for tint then the shop closed down...Workin on that. Cheers
for you youngins who weren't born yet, the SAAB 900S used to be the Subaru Outback before the Outback became popular. Everybody had one of these and it was a total Colorado car for whatever reason. People liked them a lot. Subarus were considered too fugly back then.
I have a 2006 saab 9-3 made by the swedish not gm. There are only good cares if there maintained. I will agree that the older models do look ugly but the newer ones are nice. Btw...there no longer out of busines
How exactly does ur saab have the subs in it. Are you refering to coaxial speakers? Is ur audio the premium 150 or the prestige 300? I know the stock amp is under the drivers seat but did is ur subs on the rear dek next to the 4 inch speakers Im about to put subs in mine and any help would be appreciated!!
anybody else have a Saab 9-3 2.0t? I have the 2003 Linear model. I have been putting mid-grade in since thats what the used car dealer said the previous owner was using. I have had the car for 2.5 years now.. I was talking to someone recently and they said that there is no need to put in a higher octane fuel. Even though it has a turbo is still doesn't matter. Anybody real car savy and know? What do you guys do? In NY 87 octane will be around $3.69 and midgrade(89 or 91) can be upwards of 4 bucks, sometimes $4.19.
So 30cents a gallon, 4-5 bucks extra every full tank adds up.
When I was little my mom had a saab 9-3 turbo stick sand the thing was super fun to ride in I remember. But it was piece of shit, couldn't handle dirt road and was always getting stuck. Spent countless hours chugging coffee at the dealership.
